One of the more common questions I will get at meets and ride outs is where did I get the bottle holders. I will pretty much always have these on my bike, one of each side clamped onto my crash bars, and for me they are just a must add on for any biker. Simple and straightforward way to get access to a drink while you are stopped or even at traffic lights. Takes just a few seconds to grab a bottle or can from the holder and grab a sip of drink to keep you hydrated.
They are so simple to install with the 360 mounting clamp, just adjust the clamp to fit pretty much any size bar from a wing mirror to crash bar and then tighten it up and plonk your Fav drinks bottle into it, being a 360 setup it means your drink won’t spill or fall out easy, and so far I have never had a bottle fall out, and for the price of £13 a pair it’s such a great way to keep yourself easily hydrated, and I will say I find it less hassle that a hydration pack that you have on your back.
The holder side itself will expand to fit a large range of bottle or cans so great for different uses from hot drinks in a flask style, or like I do a standard bottle from a meal deal, and being so close to hand you can access it at any time you need.
The only downsides is if you use a tall bottle it can become easier to fall out, specially if it’s heavy, but for standard types it is fine thou. The other one item to be careful is not to over tighten the clamp onto the bar, it can strip the threads on the clamp, for me I will add some tape under the clamp so stops it being able to move around so not so much need to clamp it real tight. Apart from that it is a great cheap way to remind you to drink, specially if you mount it more towards your handle bar area.
