Ermax Touring Screen

Ermax Touring Screen for Africa Twin CRF1000

The stock screen on the Africa Twin is rather small and once you hit a decent speed (which is to easy lol) the screen really does not help, which lead me onto needing to buy a new screen to help with some protection from the wind and rain, but also went for a light tinted one to help match better with the bike.

Now there are so many decent screen and pricing really does range from £60 +, I was very keen on the Givi Air Flow system which is the one I wanted for my old VStrom, but seeing that on the Africa Twin just was wrong lol, and for me the looks of a bike is something personal and after a few days of searching I found the Ermax and at a half decent price too under £100 It seemed to make sense.

The looks of the screen is pretty sweet, it match well on the curves and flow which is a great bonus, but it is a decent size extra over the stock in height which does help reduce buffering and can imagine when rain starts it will help reduce the amount on the front of me, specially my helmet and chest area, thou during my tests now in the summer time the wind is pretty nice when at speed but no more buffeting which is a great pleasure specially with all the crap I have installed on my helmet already it really makes all the difference.

Overall from the limited summer use I would say this really is a tidy well rounded screen to help protection while remaining a small enough size it does not look out of place. Updates as always thou specially for winter use…. Very impressed so far thou.
