HeadLamp Protectors

Clear acrylic head lamp protectors

Simple but effective way to protect your head lamps on your bike, for mine its £400+ to replace the unit due to the lens can not be removed, and with the stories of stone hitting them and cracking the lens its a relative cheap way to protect them.

All the are is a 2-3mm plastic lens that sticks on with some velcro pads and then protect your main lamp unit from knocks and hits, while the lens itself is really great quality the use of velcro was just madness for visuals and made the whole thing look ridiculous, so I ended up buying some clear silicone tape which works wonders and looks so much cleaner and clearer too 🙂

Overall a worth cost effect mod and one that’s under £20 which is a fraction of replacing the lens unit. I have also brought a metal setup but that’s for another story and review as awaiting a refund on that one.

Useful as one stone chip can costs hundreds to repair.

Using these myself but found them a pain to clean thou. Hopefully will save a repair on headlamp thou so well worth the money.

Found using these is better to use clear double sided tape than the stock duel lock stuff.
