Yesterday did a couple of jobs on the bike, started with a nice ride out to Rugged Roads where I had a nice chat with a great helpful young lady who was such a huge help….
Decided I needed to swap from my current Givi range of tank bags and try out the SW Motech range, and thanks to this amazing lady i was able to test them all out to see whats worked for my fat belly 🙂
So after buying the new SW Motech Lock Ring and fitting it, I then went though the range of tank bags to see which worked better….. See the Givi was a pain in the back side for the Africa Twin, they allowed on one tank bank to work, which was to big and to far back on the tank that it would always be in the way of my beer belly… Now I was able to test out the 3 main sized, from Micro to the Pro City (which i ended up with).
The SW-MOTECH system allows you to have movement on the bag allowing you to slide it more forward or backwards meaning my belly is no longer a real issue 🙂 Needless to say i am now rather happy with my new purchase, so well done to SW Motech for making a great design setup, and huge thanks to the staff over at Rugged Roads for being such a massive help.
