HeadLamp Protectors

Clear acrylic head lamp protectors Simple but effective way to protect your head lamps on your bike, for mine its £400+ to replace the unit due to the lens can not be removed, and with the stories of stone hitting them and cracking the lens its a relative cheap way to protect them.  All the are is a 2-3mm plastic lens that sticks on with some velcro pads and then protect your main lamp unit from knocks and hits, while the lens itself is really great quality the use of velcro was just madness for visuals and made the whole …

Spoke Protectors

Universal Spoke Protectors Simple but effective solution to them untidy or rusty spokes on your bike is the plastic basic £3 spoke protectors that come in packs of 72 and you cut to size.  They are just a elegant way to enhance the wheels on Adventure Bikes for sure, yep it is a each to there own solution but for me its one that works so well and helps keep things looking good too. They do take a little time to install, a couple of hours from start to finish, that included cleaning the wheels spokes and cutting then fitting …

Ermax Touring Screen

Ermax Touring Screen for Africa Twin CRF1000 The stock screen on the Africa Twin is rather small and once you hit a decent speed (which is to easy lol) the screen really does not help, which lead me onto needing to buy a new screen to help with some protection from the wind and rain, but also went for a light tinted one to help match better with the bike. Now there are so many decent screen and pricing really does range from £60 +, I was very keen on the Givi Air Flow system which is the one I …

Friday I ended up selling my Toothless (Vstrom 650) and then Friday night I was viewing this bad boy, a 2017 Africa Twin DCT with just 6300 miles on her. I look forward to all the new items to review, thou already ordered some of the same items as the Strom IE Denilli Sound Bomb, Oxford Heated Grips, Grip Puppies, and Heed Crash Bars. This bad boy already came with Honda matching Panniers, a Kappa TopBox and a Amazing!!!!! Remus Exhaust system which is unreal when winding her up.

Bye Bye Baby

The time has come to say good bye to my beloved VStrom 🙁 and I have now put her up for sale. This means for now that I will not be performing any new reviews for a short time while I await the sale of Toothless and then until I am able to purchase my newer bike. It will be a shame to see her go but she has done me so well with never having any issues and being such a reliable bike. I hope my new one will be just as good. The only reason I am selling …

MadCow / UC Wheel Cleaner

MadCow / UC Cleaning Products – Acid Free Wheel Cleaner. I brought these from Madcap via their eBay sales page on an auction, so ended up a good deal, especially for 4 different products. First being tested is the Wheel Cleaner, which is an acid free version. I used many items to clean my wheels, with the back one being always the worst due to not only brake dust & dirt but the good old chain oil which is never a fun job. Normally I used quick and easy chemicals like Holts which is safe to use around brakes, also Paraffin …

Dr Downpipe

Dr Downpipe Motorcycle Exhaust Cleaner – 500ML Spray Bottle. Yep another cleaning review again, and this time something a little different. Exhaust cleaning that comes in the form of Dr Downpipe spray cleaner. I been a follower of his work for a while and it was time I did some dedicated cleaning on this area, so placing my order via Amazon I hoped it would arrive quick, but no matter were you order it seems a week delay on it arriving. So placing my order and then booking the time in my head to do it at the following weekend …

Detailing Brushes

5 Piece Detail Brushes. Something cleaning related that I have not used before or needed too that’s now become a staple…. Yep the detailing brushes that car owners use more than us bikers, but is that all about to change. When having a good clean of your babies getting into the small awkward areas is something I always used a microfibre cloth with a thin piece of wood like a chop stick, or even a tooth pic just to do a deep down clean, but that’s now ended. With a decent set of detailing brushes you can pretty much cover …

Own a DiscLock ?

How many of you own a disc lock for your motorbike ?

Now how many of you spent a fair wad of money to get a decent branded lock to make it harder to nick your bike ?

Now where do you place that expensive lock on your bike … Front brake disc by any chance ?

I’ll bet you do, is the most common way us bikers lock our bikes up, but stop… don’t do that any more …..It can take just a few moments for a thief who comes prepared to just cut through your disc itself and remove it along with your lock and then just ride your bike away, but that’s not true of the rear sprocket, as they won’t be able ride the bike away without cutting through the lock itself, which for us bikers means we have not waste hundreds on a high end locks for them to not even need to cut it.

Pass and share this to your friends, and get the word out there.

Shark Helmets Evo One 2 – SHARK Evo-Es Endless Aka When it comes to Safety Helmets there is a huge range out there, not all are UK legal (DOT safety rating only) but the ones that are must meet with British Standard BS 6658:1985 and carry the BSI Kitemark and meet with UNECE Regulation 22.05.
