DENALI Sound Bomb

DENALI Electronics Sound Bomb Horn.

Must have upgrade to every bikers bike 🙂 yep then crappy stock horns can be so depressing and lame, but lets face it, 5 minutes of your time and some cash, you too can go around giving everyone the real horn, and letting people know you’re there.

It’s one of them items that you do need and use often on a motorbike, and having a decent horn is really a matter of life and death at times, and that’s really no joke. The Denali Sound Bomb is a really easy fit, and replaces your stock horn with something that makes other road users know your around when used. It doesn’t need upgrading your wiring or adding a relay to help power it, its a direct replacement. Yes you can go one further and get the upgraded Denali Sound Bomb which does require the relay and gives you even more presence on the road but in most condition the standard system is loud enough to make others know your around.

Costing just around the £20 mark, its cheap as chips, and worth every penny, or pound in this case 🙂 10/10

  1. DENALI Sound Bomb Update :- As I have been using this for some time now I thought an update on my thoughts since posting about it……

Still think this is a great horn but I have had a issue since owning it, and thoughts on if it was the right one for me……

When I first got this horn, I relocated to be more in a protective place, which for me was with in my front fairing more, and then i directed it forward facing so would remain loud, now I did this as I have these style horns before and they all conk out due to water damage in there original mounting on my bike, so this time moving it somewhere less chance of water damage seems the right thing to do, but as I do not use the horn regularly it seems to stick the diaphragm of the horn so that it does not sound as loud or in tone.

To overcome this I have needed to spray WD40 in to the horn itself and then repeatedly activate my horn until its goes back to the original sound, which i found is best to do on a ride on a quiet road so I can hold my horn on for a good time lol. Thankfully that fixes it and all is good with world again.

As for my other thoughts is that I maybe should have invested in its bigger brother (Which requires a relay being fitted to power it) as I am a loud pipes says life’s guy, that the louder horn is always better when you have the need to use it. So if I do come to replacing it I think I will pay the extra and go for its bigger brother (SoundBomb Split Dual-Tone Air Horn).
