Aliexpress Imported Gear Rubber.
I gone through a couple of gear rubbers since my years off biking but let face it they all seem pretty standard in shape and style, well that was the case. I came across this new style one on my hunt to replace my current bikes rubber.
First look was a case of cheaper than OEM and stock style replacements, then the shape kind of make sense to get better grip so I did as all my other buys and ordered some up. Order took just 7-10 days to arrive and they looked well made and let’s face it simple to install.
A few moments later after cutting my old stock one off I had this fitted and look pretty swarve. Couldn’t be bother to adjust the angle as I knew once riding it would settle into a position of my boots and use. Testing these on a ride and I couldn’t tell much difference from how i used it, I did however feel a difference in how more solid it felt engaging in a gear I selected, being larger it just felt more planted and sturdy when doing gear changes. There really is not a lot to say about gear lever rubbers, they come with you bike to help grip when changing gear, these thou have more surface area to give you better grip to make gear changes.
Well worth the cheaper than stock pricing, and also got some good comments from a few fellow bikers I gave some out to. One to recommend to others as a great alternative to the standard styling and with the bonus of comes in a great range of colours.
