Healtech Thunder Box Smart Power Distribution Module
The Healtech Thunder Box smart power distribution module is a aftermarket product that is designed to greatly improve and simplify the adding of 12v electrical items of your motorcycle. The module is really easy to connect to your motorcycle thanks to their plug-and-play design and simple installation process which takes just a few minutes with a simple connection of the unit to your battery you can add power for your devices.
There are two ways of its allowing the power to run to your devices, either power up after 10 seconds of starting your engine, or if wire to a Ignition source when you turn your Ignition key on. The Ignition source way is really useful for devices that are not needed when the motorcycle is turned off, such as the GPS or a phone charger, as it helps to conserve battery power, but the built in 10 second detection is great for just quick and simple wiring, allow the module to make sure your devices run when your bike is running.
There are two modules, the TB-U01 & TB-U02 both are designed to distribute 12v power to various electronic devices on your motorcycle such as Lights, GPS, Phone Charger and other items that need a 12v power source. The TB-U01 has one 16 amps bank of power while the TB-U02 allows for 2 banks of 16 amps, both modules come with a built-in fuse protection for each output circuit to ensure the safety of your motorcycle’s electrical system.
Another great feature is the ability to monitor the voltage of the motorcycle’s battery and stop anything connected to it if your battery drops voltage to much, which helps to prevent damage to your electronic devices due to low voltage. This feature also helps to prolong the life of the battery by preventing it from being over-discharged.
