LED bar

LED tail light and Indicator bar.

An amazing addition to any motorcycle. I have had mine installed on my Top Box rack, just under the top box itself, and wired up to my tail lights and indicators. I didn’t have it wired up to main light as being on all the time is making it very hot and I am worried it may overheat over time.

Fitting it pretty easy off you know basic electrics, and with its sticky back it can stick to most clean surfaces without any issues. Once running it works really well, and for £13 it did blow me away just how handy it really is as an addition was to get spotted.

It the perfect size for the mounting plate of a top box and the unit is fully waterproof as well as really flexible so easy to bend it around items. Overall I totally recommend this to anyone who want to stand out more from behind, and any one who has a top box as a safer way to get more noticed. 10/10 in every area as long as you don’t wire it to use the stay on with traditional lights, only wire up as a stop light and indicators.

  1. LED Light Bar Update :- Well the first one of these units lastest around 6 months, so since that one stopped working I have replaced it again as the light does do well and help get noticed on the road more.
The reason I believe the first one packed up was at the ends of the bar there is a rubber cap to stop water getting in, one of these come off allowing water to short it, so the new one I have added some extra silicone sealant to make sure they remain watertight. Like the first one thou I did not wire up the standard light which with my bike would make the light remain on all the time, this overheated the unit, so I only wired it to my brake lights and my indicators.
The new set has been on a good while now and no issues showing at all with it, so remains a great item for adding that extra bit of safety as long as use with the above setup.
