LeoVince Full Exhaust system for Forza 125cc.
Well there are many exhaust system out there for many bikes, even for the scooters users among us, and my Forza 125 I have spotted a good 4-5 descent system ranging from £200 – £500.
Now normally I would jump on the higher end off to get more performance from my bike, but I know that’s something that not going to happen on this bike as its totally restricted and won’t budge past the 71mph, so for me I wanted something that was more geared towards what I did want it for this time and that was to be louder and deeper, so it sounded more of a growl and not a bark, if you get my meaning, and then to reduce weight, again this will help with acceleration and also reduce the fuel bills just a little more (not that the Forza is amazing as it is).
So after looking around and I narrowed it down to an arrow system and the Leo Vince system, both offered full system for my bike, both were in the £300 pricing point which I was happy to pay for the features I wanted, and after looking at both I felt the Leo was more of a looker to match my bike, being loads smaller than the stock it allowed me to show more of the back end off over the arrow which seemed to cover more up.
So I ordered my system and awaited the arrived. When it did arrived it was well packaged and all items were wrapped up to make sure no 2 items would touch and mark on another. (See Pics). The manual seemed pretty clear and simple on how to fit, and for my model it was just a case of 4-5 bolts and then a case of removing the old one and then building up the new system and bolting that into place. The first section to the cylinder head then to add the DB killer, followed by the rear section and that was pressure fitted and then a spring holding that and then just the couple of straps and bolts to lock it all in place to the stock mounts.
All was done with a friends help within 30 mins, and then we started the bike with the DB killer out but baffles DB killer in (2 DB killers on my model) and boy it sounds loud and deep. Maybe just maybe too loud I was thinking. So I ended up re fitting the centre DB killer and then removing the baffle DB killer instead, which worked perfect for me as I could add the baffle side back in within minutes as it require just one bolt, and the sound was just slightly but enough quieter to be heard and not annoying the neighbours daily.
I have now had the system installed a good 4 months and I not yet added the baffle DB killer back in, nor been pulled over for it being to loud, so I am really please with the results. I noticed loads more cars hear me coming when I filter now and I still love the sound of it and the looks remain like new still, so can see it lasting many years. Overall well worth the price, not just for the looks but the sound is just amazing, so deep its more of a V twin sound, and low rev’s it turns heads still 🙂
