Yeah Yeah i know, what a shock I have brought more cleaning supplies Well with the Africa Twin AS ES being a Matte finish I have needed to replace a lot of my older items to make sure no cross contamination that could effect the paintwork…. IK Snow Foam

Goizper iK Foam Pro 1.5L – Foaming/Snowfoam Sprayer. Dirty bike is a no no for me, and that means I will spend loads on cleaning gear, in fact its a weak spot of mine….. This time its a snow foam solution from IK which I purchased last year and have used a good few times.  It’s a practical item that just covers enough to snow foam a single bike, and with a decent PH natural snow foam liquid it works well to give a real snow foam covering. What I like about the IK system is that it comes with …

Starbrite AutoXpert

Starbrite AutoXpert Waterless Wash. Winter equals wash time more I find, with all the salt on the roads and wet weather our bikes just get hammered with dirt, so cleaning is something most of us will do, and one cleaning solution is using a waterless wash, and the most recent one I have brought is this @Starbrite AutoXpert version.  Waterless wash is one of the better ways I find to clean my bike on a regular basis, of course when it comes to a real messy bike I will go to the snow foam side with buckets and hoses, but …

Bike/Pet Dryer

Grandma Shark 2800W Pet Dryer. Cleaning your pride and joy can be either fun and enjoyable or a down right a pain in the arse….. For me it’s fun and enjoyable and if you know me it’s something I do a lot 🙂 In fact I pretty much clean my bike either before every ride or after every ride, and I like to think it shows when you see my bike, it maybe a 2014 model but she is one tidy and clean bike. It does take time and effort to clean a bike as so many areas and small …

Shift Waterless Wash

Shift Waterless Car Wash Solution. You all know what I am like for cleaning my pride and joy, and I still clean her near on every time I get back from a ride, which is why she stays in great condition, but when it comes to what I use to do that cleaning is a range of high end products. The main one is a decent waterless detailer, now normally this comes in the form of a spray liquid that contains a few chemicals like a cleaning agent and a wax to allow you to do a full clean on …

Muc-Off Foam Fresh

Muc-Off foam fresh helmet cleaner. I brought this a while ago and did not get round to using it much until the summer time kicked in, but like so many of the products I buy they don’t aways reach the length of getting reviewed for the site, but with the summer over and preparing for the winter this came back out, and its back in use to clean and sanitise my biking gear for storage. This stuff is simple to use and what makes it effective is its price (Under £10) and it can be used on a few different …

ACF-50 Anti Corrosion Treatment. Winter is fast approaching and its that time of the year a lot of bikers put there bikes away till the summer time, but there are still some of us that use our bike throughout the winter too, but which ever type of rider you are ACF50 time is here. So what is ACF 50 you may say, well its a specially designed liquid that was originally for the Aero Space Industry to stop corrosion and dispels moisture. PADS Detailing

Polished to Perfection Auto Detailing.  I always been one myself for maintaining and cleaning my bikes, and yep pretty much every time I take my little “Toothless” (V-Strom) for a ride, she will be cleaned on return. Why you may ask, part ocd, and part respect for her doing her job so well and wanting to keep her in top condition. So being this way it been a thing I wanted done is a professional clean to her, and when I looked around there maybe a few places to have it done, but wanting to respect local crafts I know of …

Armor-All Protectant

Armor-All Protectant Gloss Finish. This is one of them products I can not live without, if you own any thing that’s made of plastic or rubber then you need this stuff. It’s so easy to use, the 300ml bottle I buy lasts years, and all do is give it a good shake and then spray on a clean rag and wipe over any plastic and rubbers (side walls of tyres are great with this) and allow it to dry, repeat the process if needed but it basically brings any plastic and rubber to look like showroom condition, even if it’s …

Wash Mitt – Sponge

Microfibre wash mitt and sponge. Yep one of them things everyone needs when cleaning their dirty little bikes 😀 under a fiver and just a simple and effective way to remove dirt. Not a huge amount one can say, being microfibre these are really soft to use and don’t tend to scratch your paintwork, the mitt is a little small for large hands but it still allows a great way to clean your items, the sponge is very firm ands great for larger areas so more suited for cars than bikes I found, the mitt works great. For under £5 …
