Turtle Wax Hybrid solutions pro graphene flex wax.
I have purchased this a couple of days ago after doing some research over the last few weeks on ceramic waxes for my motorbike and after learning how good these style waxes are I then came across a graphene version which are even better over the ceramic version. I read that 99% of graphene versions thou are using grapheme oxide within the wax, but Turtle Wax version is a REAL Graphene which is integrated within the wax itself. So even better news I thought, but then I read that this way only available in America currently. After watching a review of it from the states I thought this is the one for me, even at its costly £30 price tag for a 680ml sized bottle.
A few days later I spotted a post back up there site saying its due to UK now so I placed my order for it, and I awaited my parcel.
Once it arrived I went out and gave my motorbike a wipe over to clean it again as most people know I pretty much clean my bike after each ride, so it was pretty much prepped ready. I also ordered some applicators to make applying easier. After reading the basic instructions, all I needed to do was give 2 squirts of the graphene wax onto my applicator and then apply to my bike in a up and down motion and then a left to right motion to make sure it was a full coverage, and then buff off with a microfibre towel. I found that once I worked my way around my bike I only needed 1 shirt per panel as my panels are small, and then a good buffing off was all that was needed. Having a clean bike to start with meant this took all off 10 minutes max to complete my waxing/protection.
The end result I couldn’t believe, I normally love the look of a sealant spray I use but this graphene wax won hands down over it, the shine was amazing, really deep gloss and what really stood out was just how smooth and silky it made my panels feel. I couldn’t help but rub my hands over my tank feeling its slide off. Was like a ice rink for my fingers.
I decided to go for a ride (shopping) and I couldn’t stop but keep rubbing my hands over my tank and side panels at every traffic light, it just felt so smooth and it looks so shiny.
So what can I say…. I am very impressed, the fact I used pretty much 10 squirt of this stuff to cover my whole bike is outstanding value, I can see this bottle lasting many years. As for its protective side, only time will tell and I will update or add some comments on that later, but for now and its immediate effect I am very impressed, by far the BEST wax/protection system I have EVER used bar non, and I have used a few.
Huge thanks Turtle Wax for such an amazing product.
Turtle Wax Graphene Wax Update :- As I have been using this for some time now I thought an update on my thoughts since posting about it……
This is still my goto main wax I guess it would be classed as. I still use it as a more of a 6 monthly part of my cleaning process, as it works so well it’s not something I need to use daily or even monthly (Yes I still pretty much clean my bike after every ride).
It holds it own when it comes to how well it protects my bike, and it still makes my cleaning so much easier as its got this graphine coating but as it’s so good at it’s job I don’t need to use it often, and is part of a deeper clean only. I now use a ceramic version as my weekly / fortnightly top up side as I have more of that still left from past purchases and keep the good stuff just for the pre winter and pre summer deep clean.
